Computer troubles

So lets see, computer suicide twice with in a half a year and now the warranty is expired, boooo. So I had spoken to the geek-squad and they said my lap top usually only last for two years and it is on three currently (darn you sony) leaving me with two options, pay to have my comp fixed for another semester or two or beg my father for a new one. So I want to know if anyone has any idea what comp would last the longest and if they know of any sort of sturdy, travel worthy ones as well.

Also you might have some new art work coming for my school projects if I can bribe the roomies to let me use their computers.

Until the next computer update! (if it gets fixed!)

We need to start planning meet days, hon, so we can get our work done on time and wow the world with it (because, we totally have to be awesome)! By the way...my ARTS 125 prof hates APCG so I'm worried about my grade in that class.

you will do fine your an epic artist and generally you wont fail. I have faith. I am free most afternoons/evenings and generally I might be free most of Fridays just tell me when you free and in general we can make it work. also I'm free most weekends obviously. lol and wed. I'll post my schedule on DA later today during my break.

I'll do the same thing...I'm free most weekends and afternoons. We should try to meet up this weekend and hammer out a style we want to try to use for our first animation.

so I figure we are doing that style from that dragon animation, and right now the time line in class is we need to type out our idea, the style, what we want to accomplish, and apparently the software as well (the treatments). Anyway he has this all put up on the board. Im going to go down the list and find some simple stories to work off of.
